NYC Girls

The girls in NY are prettier than their counterparts in JAX. I don’t know what it is, but I they feel more real to me, like there’s more there.
Oleg tells me that i’m going to find a wife in Jacksonville. I think he’s on crack.

The LIRR has new trains now on many of their lines. They’re very nice, bright, ergonomic, comforable, and futuristic. But they had the same old trains for as long as I knew that trains existed. Makes me feel like I’m missing things here in NYC. Makes me feel old.

In this Wired inteview. Bill Joy mentions that he is enjoying his dual 2ghz Powermac G5. He says that having 64 bits and 8 gigs of memory is great, and “Mac OS X is a rock-solid system that’s beautifully designed. I much prefer it to Linux.”
He’s also building a 8 foot by 12 foot display [...]

Yes, the guy implemented his own byte and word classes… and he even wrote is own XOR methods too! This code is running on a production system as we speak. Maybe even one near you!

I rode my bike over to Sneakers to watch the Florida/Georgia game. It was a good time, reminded me a lot of the Clarkson vs. St. Lawrence hockey games back when I was in school
