One thing I’ve noticed lately is since I left new york, I sometimes tend to linger in airports more than I used to. For instance, I just dropped off a friend of mine at the airport here in Jacksonville, and now I’m eating some lunch surrounded by he hustle and bustle of hundreds of people going from point A to B.
I guess it reminds me of being in New York again, of being in Grand Central Station or just walking down the street in manhatten. Enjoying solitude in the presence of so many others.
I think I’ll stay here for a little while longer 
Never lived in NYC but I am the same way, I enjoy grabbing lunch by myself in airports and malls etc. There’s something about getting lost in the crowd that’s very appealing to me.
