- The Rebel Billionaire: Branson’s Quest for the Best
This is a great show. Richard Bransen, the founder of Virgin is looking for a young entrepreneur��
to run his companies. Starting with a field of 12 entrepreneurs, he challenges them with business challenges and stunts. Two things I like about this show: First the flamboyant world traveling nature that Brason brings to the show, an second the fact that Branson will participate in the stunts himself. Unlike that wimp who hosts fear factor, Branson will not give the contestants a challenge he wouldn’t do himself. - Project Runway
I like watching people designing and building things, especially when they’re good at what they do, and I have no knowledge of their field. I’ve only seen one episode, but this show seems pretty solid. The producers found 12 aspiring fashion designers from around the country and they compete for a prize that will help them start their own labels. The first challenge was good, they had to design an elegant evening gown from materials bought in a supermarket and it was pretty surprising what they were able to come up with. Add to that formula lots of beautiful (and extremely emotionally fragile) models and this show can’t fail to please.
Only problem so far: Heidi Klum is very easy on the eyes, but she’s not the best host I’ve ever seen.
